The program begins in Tel Aviv at 9:30 AM on February 23, 2026. Please plan to arrive at Ben Gurion Airport no later than that morning. The program concludes on the evening of March 1, 2026, in time for flights departing at or after 11:50 PM from Ben Gurion Airport.

Should I purchase trip insurance?

Yes. The tour company requires that all participants purchase trip insurance for your protection and peace of mind.

What safety precautions are in place?

Your safety is our top priority. We partner with a highly experienced tour company and follow all security guidelines to ensure a safe and comfortable journey. This includes a full time security guard and bullet proof buses when needed.

How many women will be on this trip?

We can accommodate 47 participants and our 3 incredible leaders.

Are meals included?

Yes. The trip provides upscale, delicious kosher meals and snacks. Two lunches and one dinner will be on your own. We will do our best to accommodate food allergies; however, we cannot guarantee a completely allergy-free environment in Israel.

What is a Shabbat JWCA experience?

Shabbat with JWC Atlanta is always meaningful. Experiencing Shabbat in Israel amplifies the connection, offering a truly unforgettable and spiritually rich encounter.

Are there gatherings before or after the trip?

Yes. We will host pre- and post-trip learning experiences to help bond the group, prepare spiritually, and integrate the journey’s impact when we return. Pre-trip meetings will be on January 14th and February 11th.  The post trip meeting will be on March 18th.

How many women share a room?

Rooms are double occupancy. Single occupancy is available for an additional fee of $1,495. After registration, you will receive a roommate questionnaire. If you don’t have a roommate, don’t worry—we will pair you with one of our incredible JWC Atlanta women.

How is this trip different than the previous JWCA Israel trips?

JWC Atlanta hosts various trips. Our trips to Israel in conjunction with our partner Momentum are highly subsidized trips curated by Momentum in partnership with the Israeli government. There are entry parameters created by those organizations such as the requirement to still have a child 18 years or younger at home.
That trip includes some of the typical tourist attractions in Israel and an educational component each day in a classroom style setting.

The JWC Atlanta February 23-March 1 trip, entitled Voices of Courage, is not subsidized. It is open to any Jewish woman currently living in Atlanta, there are no pre-conditions. This trip will not duplicate the experiences of a Momentum trip. Using Israel, the country itself, as the classroom, we will combine spiritual inspiration, learning, meaningful service opportunities and fun experiences. The focus is on courage and the lessons we can learn from our female leaders past and present.

How active is the trip? How much walking should I expect?

This is an active trip that includes daily walking and requires mobility. If you have concerns, please reach out to us directly—we are happy to discuss.

Who is eligible to participate?

Jewish women living in the Greater Atlanta area are welcome. First-timers are warmly encouraged to join!
