Julie Silverman Julie Silverman, Executive Director

Julie was born in Tokyo and raised in Manhattan. She received a Teacher's Degree from Michlalah Seminary in Israel and a BA from Touro College in Manhattan. In 1987 the Silverman family moved to Atlanta as part of the cohort to start the Atlanta Scholars Kollel. As JWC Atlanta's Executive Director, Julie feels honored to learn and grow with all the incredible women in her orbit.

Chava Neiditch Chava Neiditch, Director of Education

Aliza Genauer

Aliza was born in New Jersey and moved to Atlanta 4 years ago after spending 14 years in Seattle, WA. While trained as a Speech therapist and currently an insurance agent, her true love is teaching, learning, and sharing Torah. Aliza teaches Jewish History to high school girls and is excited to be able to learn together with the women of Atlanta. 

Erika Needleman Erika Needleman

Erika is a wife, mom, yoga teacher,  life coach, mikvah lady, and devoted JWCA educator since 2022. In her spare time she does pottery and she loves all things Torah, self-help, and coffee-related. 

Temima Oratz

Temima was born and raised in California and moved to Atlanta with her family in 2012. She is a nurse who specialized in pediatric oncology and currently focuses on utilizing evidence-based practices and research in the healthcare setting. She has had the privilege of sharing Torah ideas in the Toco Hills community over the years and she is so excited to now join the JWCA community as well. 

Miri Samber

Miri was born and raised in Monsey, New York, and moved to Atlanta seven years ago with her husband and two children. She has spent the past two decades sharing her love of learning with others. She holds a Master’s degree in Education and is a certified reading teacher, giving her a unique ability to make Jewish concepts engaging, relatable, and accessible to all.

Rookie Shapiro Rookie Shapiro

Rookie moved to Atlanta ten years ago with her husband to found the Brookhaven Kollel, now the Atlanta Jewish Xperience. By day she works in marketing at a healthcare technology company, and from their home in Chamblee, she is known for her open door, signature babka and challah bakes, and her dedication to building connections with women and families across the community.

Rebekah Silverman

Rebekah was born and raised in Seattle, WA, and moved to Atlanta 14 years ago to become part of the Atlanta Scholars Kollel. By profession, she is a nurse, though she currently enjoys working as a teacher at Temima High School. Rebekah is very excited to get to know the amazing woman of JWCA!
