AMY AROGETI
Amy is a daughter, mother, and grandmother who finds joy in the simple and meaningful parts of life. She is a third-generation Atlantan on her father’s side and a second-generation American on her mother’s. She trained and worked as a CPA, but her true passion has been serving the Jewish community for over 30 years in various leadership and volunteer roles. She also spent many years as a CASA, advocating for children in the court system. Amy and her husband of 40 years, Robert, have three children and four wonderful grandchildren.
What are 3-5 unique gifts you bring to the table?
- I bring a deep empathy and a strong sense of justice, especially for those whose voices often go unheard.
- I have a keen awareness of human behavior, which helps me connect meaningfully with others.
- I’m also persistent and committed to following projects through to completion, and I bring decades of experience in both professional and volunteer settings that have strengthened my leadership and problem-solving skills.
What do you hope to bring to (or accomplish on behalf of) JWC Atlanta this year?
I hope to help grow and expand the circle of JWCA by representing women who are on a journey of spiritual growth and learning, no matter their age. I want to help create a welcoming and inspiring space for women who are seeking connection, wisdom, and purpose.
